A federal judge lifted NASCAR’s suspension of Jeremy Mayfield today.  The article isn’t clear, but it seems as if the judge ordered a preliminary injunction lifting the suspension.  Mayfield isn’t in the clear yet, but he can race while the litigation is pending.  This is quite an upset for Mayfield.  The ruling France family runs NASCAR [...]

Race Recap And I quit caring at about 9:00 Sunday night.  After Sunday, it’s fitting that Monday’s race was hampered by rain delays, called early due to the bad weather, and had an anti-climatic ending in which a driver earned his first victory.  I am still bitter about Sunday, NASCAR.
